Down on Maim Street, I won by wasting all five of the other cars. On Coastal Carnage and Fridge Racer, we change things up by winning via the second of three methods: Racing to win. We have to cross all the checkpoints under the time limit in order to complete the race and earn the winner's purse. If we're going to upgrade, we'll need that dirty racing money. The game was released in 1997 for PC with subsequent ports to PlayStation, Nintendo 64 and Game Boy Colour and later to Android and iOS. Carmageddon was very controversial on release due to the feature of running over pedestrians. The game was censored in some countries (including Germany and the UK) and banned from others (including Brazil).
